The Prescription Medication Disposal Program is designed to give the public an opportunity to safely dispose of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs. Traditional methods for disposing of unused medicines – flushing them down the toilet or throwing them in the trash – have been shown to pose environmental and health hazards.

Members of the public can dispose of unwanted and expired prescription and household medications conveniently and safely at the following locations:

Drop-off available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. excluding holidays when the station is closed to the public (dates and times subject to change).
