Take the Coachella Valley Community Health Survey
The City of Palm Desert proudly supports the Coachella Valley Community Health Survey.
This telephone survey, conducted by Palm Desert-based nonprofit HARC, Inc., helps provide an understanding of the health and quality of life for all Coachella Valley residents. The data collected from this survey is used by our cities, healthcare organizations, and nonprofits to improve life for residents. This includes securing grant funding; organizations who used this data to support their requests for funds bring in millions of dollars each year. These grant funds support important services, like transportation for people with disabilities, pregnancy prevention programs for teens, HIV testing for all, mental health counseling for children, and meal delivery for home-bound low-income seniors.
If you receive a call from Kent State University on behalf of HARC, we urge you to take the call and answer the survey questions. The survey is confidential and will only take about 20 minutes. One participant each week is randomly selected to win $100.
