02:17 PM – Felon in Possession of Ammunition: Officers were dispatched to a disturbance on the 77100 block of Michigan Ave., Palm Desert. While responding, the reporting party advised he had been threatened him with a handgun. Upon arrival, a 39 year old male of Palm Desert was contacted and detained. A subsequent search yielded ammunition and gun paraphernalia. The male was arrested. File #T182820103.
05:14 PM – General Neglect/Failure to Protect: Officers responded to a child endangerment call in the area of San Pablo Ave and Fred Waring Drive in Palm Desert. The reporting party located an injured 5-year-old female. The juveniles parents and home were identified and during a home inspection it was found to be unkept and unsuitable to inhabit children. Riverside County Child Protective Services responded and took custody of the found juvenile and three others. The children's parents were arrested for general neglect of a child and booked into the Indio Jail. File #T182820125.
06:33 PM – Spousal Abuse: Officers responded to the 74100 block of Pele Place in Palm Desert in reference to a 911 call. Upon arrival, the reason for the call was determined to be a result of in-progress domestic violence. A 56 year old male of Palm Desert was arrested and booked into the jail in Indio.
