Under the direction of Homer Croy, Assistant City Manager for Development Services, the Development Services Department is responsible for all planning, development, and maintenance of Palm Desert's physical resources and strives to provide services which ensure the highest attainable quality of life for the community. Mr. Croy oversees the departments of Building and Safety, Planning and Public Works.  He also administers the divisions of Building Maintenance, Parks and Recreation, and Risk Management.
