Residential Projects List 09-09The Planning Department implements the policies and objectives of the community that are set forth in the City of Palm Desert's General Plan and Zoning Ordinance. Planning also reviews proposed developments to ensure consistency with the City's standards and policies relating to land use and preservation of the environment. This guarantees that the quality of life will be maintained and enhanced for future generations.

In addition, the Planning Department manages the City’s Residential Projects and Non-Residential Projects. Staff is available Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to answer questions and assist with applications.

 

CORNISHE OF BIGHORN PROJECT: Attached in PDF format is the New Preferred Alternative, an Addition to the Draft Environmental Impact Report for Cornishe of Bighorn Project. The document has been prepared pursuant to the requirements of the State Guidelines for the implementation of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). The public is invited to provide comments on the adequacy and completeness of the environmental analyses described in the document. (State Clearinghouse Number 2004091012)
