09:45 AM - Warrant & False ID to a Peace Officer Arrest - A Palm Desert Motor Officer conducted a pedestrian check at Palma Village Park at De Anza Way and San Carlos Avenue. The male’s fingerprints were searched and his correct name was obtained. A Records check revealed he had an active warrant and was also charged with lying to a peace officer. 11:45 AM - Dangerous or Gravely Disabled Person – Officers responded to the 3100 block of Via Giorna reference a report of child endangerment. The investigation revealed the child had threatened his parents. The child also destroyed property inside the residence. The child was taken for a 72-hour treatment and evaluation. File #T180520086.
04:07 PM - Vehicle Burglary - A Palm Desert Burglary Suppression Unit Investigator conducted a follow-up investigation regarding a vehicle burglary that occurred at the Bump & Grind trailhead on February 20, 2018. The vehicle burglary was determined to be related to the strong-arm robbery that occurred the evening prior on 02/20/18. Property from the robbery and vehicle burglary were recovered. Additional charges of burglary and conspiracy will be filed against the suspects. File #T180510119.
07:42 PM - Felony Arrest - Palm Desert Business District Team Officers conducted a pedestrian check at Monterey Avenue and Gerald Ford Drive in the Lowes parking lot. The subject had two outstanding warrants and was subsequently arrested. File #T180520164.
